Duties include: Work outdoors to maintain and improve landscape features by trimming/removing trees and bushes, pulling weeds, applying mulch, topsoil, rocks, and digging holes for planting flowers, trees and bushes. Install flowers, plants, and bushes in the dug holes Prepare the grade, cut, and lay sod. Care for the plants by watering, mowing grass, trimming, and pruning trees and bushes. Perform routine maintenance on lawn equipment such as cleaning the equipment daily, sharpening blades, and changing fluids. Follow the preset plan and scope of work for each property laid out by the Landscape Foreman. Ensure that you are only using equipment that you are authorized to and storing properly at the end of the day. May assist in snow removal duties using snow polws, shovels and salt spreaders. Employee should expect be prepared to start work based on weather conditions of when snow or icy conditions start regardless of time of day.
