***RFI Response*** Will assist with packing and preparing items for transport using packing paper, stretch wrap, moving blankets, moving boxes, screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, and hand tools. Lift, carry, and move household items such as furniture, appliances, mattresses, décor, and boxed items, and load and secure them into truck. Unpack and unload items into the customer’s current residence or office, placing them in customer-designated rooms. Additional tools/equipment used: box cutters, truck loading ramp, truck liftgate, two-wheel dollies, four-wheel dollies, appliance dolly with straps, hand carts, lifting straps/harnesses, furniture sliders, and protective floor runners. ***Original F.a.2*** Drive diesel-powered tractor trailer truck to transport & deliver household goods or commercial furniture and equipment in loose or packaged form. Participates in the packing, pick-up, moving, loading trucks, unloading trucks, & delivery of household goods & office furniture and equipment. Driving trucks to locations throughout the United States.
