- Offer description:
Design and implement work-related training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance in surveying, mapping, UAV operations, data collection, and remote sensing workflows. Present training using instructional techniques such as demonstrations, simulations, field-based exercises, discussions, or lectures. Train workers in field data-collection procedures, equipment setup and operation, workflow execution, use of surveying instruments, and handling of UAV and LiDAR data workflows. Coordinate training schedules and maintain documentation of training activities, participant progress, and adherence to established field and data-processing procedures. Develop, obtain, organize, and update training materials, workflow guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), instructional content, handouts, and visual materials to support standardized surveying and remote sensing operations. Design, plan, and structure training programs for consistent execution of field measurement workflows, control-point establishment, UAV flight procedures, RTK data-collection steps, and the preparation and organization of mapping inputs. Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities and program effectiveness by reviewing data-collection accuracy, workflow adherence, and completeness of field and processing documentation. Assess training needs on an ongoing basis by reviewing operational feedback, error trends in field notes or datasets, and through consultation with managers, supervisors, or field personnel. Conduct ongoing assessments of trainee performance to identify areas requiring additional instruction or procedural reinforcement. Provide coaching and feedback to improve workers’ execution of field workflows, data-collection techniques, and adherence to standardized surveying and mapping procedures. Recommend updates to training curricula, workflow methods, and instructional approaches based on performance results and participant feedback.
