Help keep pools clean and in good condition. Perform general cleaning tasks such as removing leaves and other debris from the water and pool area. Clean out baskets that collect leaves and other items from the pool system. Use a net on a pole to skim floating debris from the pool's surface. Vacuum pools. Use a brush to scrub the sides and bottom of the pool to keep them clean and free of stains. Check and adjust the water to make sure it’s safe and comfortable for swimming by adding the right mix of basic pool chemicals. Wash out filters with a hose and replace them when needed. Rinse various parts of the pool equipment to ensure proper operation.
