***RFI Response*** Position offered is for an experienced grounds keeper with a minimum of three months experience in grounds keeping who is able to work with and model company grounds keeping methods and procedures with up to 3 peers, sand pit maintenance, application of sand and other organic materials to playing surfaces; mowing, weed trimming, and raking or clean-up of leaves with blowers. Also, installation, pruning and trimming of plants, trees, and shrubs from the ground. Placing and tilling dirt, mulch, compost, and sod. Installation of weed barriers; manage gullies or ditches and cart detail. General landscape labor using landscape equipment for landscape installation and maintenance. Knowledge of tools, methods, and materials used in golf course construction and building maintenance such as cleaning and maintaining the grounds surrounding buildings with rakes, blowers, mowers, and weed eaters. Ability to operate small pickup trucks (half ton or smaller), utility vehicles and light motorized equipment such as golf carts, small Cushman utility vehicles, and golf course riding mowers. Also uses weed eaters, edgers and blowers and hand tools for golf course maintenance such as hoses for hand watering turf areas, cleaning hard surfaces with brooms or blowers, wrenches for adjusting sprinklers. Also, pulling weeds, clippers for pruning plants and trees from the ground, and shovels for removing plant debris. Assist the assistant superintendent in the listed grounds maintenance duties and daily requirements including all golf course maintenance duties listed as needed. Loading and unloading plant material, mowers, blowers, rakes, shovels, clippers and weed eaters around the golf course grounds, using golf carts and small Cushman utility vehicles around the golf course.
