Landscape or maintain property grounds of lawn, tree, shrub, evergreen, and perennials at customer locations using a variety of hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, trimming, sod laying, planting, watering, mulching, digging, and fertilizing. Assist with installation of mortarless segmental masonry wall units/similar, loading/unloading trucks with plant and other landscape material, and installation of those materials at worksites. May perform other job duties pursuant to 37-3011, Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers. F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35+ hours/week. 7-hour shifts between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm. 5 days per week, Mon-Sat. Schedule (including workdays) may vary. May work more than the guaranteed hours. May work overtime. OT varies and must be pre-approved. F.b.8a: Workers will be paid no less than the wage listed. Employer may pay higher wage rates to or pay for housing for workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Employer may pay higher wage rates if worker has a valid driver’s license. Overtime hours may vary. F.b.8a: Depending on work conditions, the employer may offer workers performing certain tasks during certain periods of the season an opportunity to earn an incentive bonus over and above the guaranteed rate of pay set forth above. If offered, such incentive bonuses will be based on the quantity and quality of work performed and offered to all workers working on the activity(ies) and during the time period(s) when such incentive bonuses are offered. If an incentive bonus is offered, the fact that the bonus is to be offered and the manner in which the bonus will be determined, will be explained to all affected workers before the start of any work period or activity subject to such a bonus. Incentive bonuses are offered at the sole discretion of the employer, and no bonus or opportunity to earn a bonus is promised or guaranteed. F.b.9: Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. F.c.1: The H-2B Temporary Landscape Laborers will perform job duties at 2402 Highway 55, Medina, MN 55340 and at multiple worksites within the area of intended employment, including the following counties: Scott, Ramsey, Sherburne, Washington, Hennepin, Anoka, Wright, Rice, Dakota, and Faribault. F.d.1: Employer will provide daily transportation from 2402 Highway 55, Medina, MN 55340 to and from worksites, or employee may report directly to the worksite on their own.
