Six full-time temporary Climber positions are available for work beginning April 1, 2026 and continuing through December 1, 2026, with 40 hours work provided weekly, working day shift 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, at $22.64 or higher per hour, with optional overtime offered at $33.96 or higher per hour. Bartlett Climbers serve as a member of our tree-care crew. They perform basic tree climbing and rigging, pruning and trimming, and lowering of branches. Climbers use climbing hooks and belts to gain access to work areas. Climbers use power saws and pruners to cut away dead or excess branches from trees or shrubs to improve tree health. This occupation requires a high-school diploma and six months related work experience. One month of paid on-the-job training gets any hires up to speed so they can identify tree species and climbing risks, and also safely utilize tools.
