• Offer description:

  Examine and analyze gemstones and diamonds to determine authenticity and quality using gemological tools and techniques. Provide accurate grading and certification of stones based on industry standards (e.g., GIA, AGS). Collaborate with sales associates to provide education on stone characteristics and assist customers with gemstone selection. Maintain and calibrate gemological equipment such as microscopes, refractometers, and spectrometers. Ensure the proper handling, storage, and security of loose and mounted gemstones. Stay updated on gem market trends, treatments, synthetics, and new testing technologies. Support inventory management and verify incoming gemstones for quality assurance. Assist staff with gemstone identification and sales features. Shifts will vary from 5:00am to 10:00pm; up to 6 days/week; 40 hours/week minimum and up to 32 hours/week overtime.
