Will provide training to perform and supervise the performance of housekeeping activities, including: Lead, train, and supervise housekeeping staff, including house persons and laundry personnel. Assign and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient workflow. Provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback to team members. Monitor staff performance and address performance issues as needed. Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established standards. Oversee cleaning schedules and ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained in a timely and thorough manner. Coordinate deep cleaning and maintenance projects as necessary. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities. Place orders for cleaning supplies and equipment as needed. Ensure the proper use and storage of cleaning products and equipment. Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high cleaning standards. Address guest complaints and concerns promptly and effectively. Conduct periodic quality audits and inspections. Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and company policies. Organize and facilitate ongoing training and development programs. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Ensure that housekeeping staff follows safety protocols and uses appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards. Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate department. Assist in budget planning and cost control efforts related to housekeeping operations. Prepare regular reports on housekeeping activities, staff performance, and budget adherence.
