Cleaning of vacation rental homes and Condominiums including sanitizing, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, performing laundry, organizing, etc. Outside raking of pine needles and pickup any litter. The majority of the duties require housekeeping staff to clean the vacation homes/condos between visiting guests. Our Guests depart at 10am, and our still are required to clean all the homes/condos, ensure all areas are dusted and sanitized, and that all bed linens (comforters, blankets, sheets, pillowcases) and towels, bathroom mats are laundered. Laundry is done at the house/condo using a standard homeowner washer and dryer located inside the rental. All linens and towels are laundered and then folded and put away for the next turn around. Other duties include wiping hand prints from the windows (within reach), sweeping the exterior and cleaning exterior patio furniture. Requires cleaning and laundry duties, monitoring cleanliness throughout the properties, and ensuring guest satisfaction through attention to detail and coordination with other departments. Replenish consumable supplies (soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.) as needed. Report damage or issues at property found during cleaning service. Requires use of cleaning supplies and tools such as household chemicals, sprayers, vacuums, web dusters, Swiffer’s, sponges, rags, step ladders, rakes, pitch forks, tarps, and shovels. Drive company vehicle to various properties to perform duties. The use of Rake, pitch forks, tarps is extremely minimal and will occur in the months of May to July where staff will perform light outdoor work to ensure fire clearance of the properties. Outdoor work will consist of raking of pine needles within 30-50 ft perimeter of the homes. The pine needles are loaded onto the tarp using a pitch forks and then tarp is placed curbside for county pick up. Shovels may be used if there is a spring snow in April/May due to high elevation. A grain scoop shovel is used to remove the snow after a snow storm from the properties stairways and decks. Minimum Requirements: Must walk moderate distances throughout shift, walk up/downstairs throughout shift carrying cleaning products; frequently required to handle and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. over short distances; Reaches, bends and lifts to perform routine job tasks. Must be over age of 18 and hold valid driver's license. Additional Details: Transportation to and from the worksites will be provided by employer at no cost to the employees. Cleaning supplies and tools will be supplied to workers at no cost. Training period will be provided for 2 weeks where H-2B worker will shadow a present employee and learn how to thoroughly clean the units, what chemicals to use, how to wash and fold the laundry, what supplies to leave for guests. Employees will also learn the area and homes and will be trained to use the self-reporting payroll portal.
