Supervise and work alongside landscaping crews performing landscape installation and maintenance tasks. Coordinate daily work assignments, ensure quality standards, monitor safety practices, and instruct workers in proper techniques and equipment use. Work includes physical labor and requires knowledge of landscape installation, plant care, irrigation support, and equipment operation. Reports to company management and has no authority to hire, fire, discipline, or set pay rates. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Lead and work with crew performing landscaping duties such as planting, mulching, grading, sod installation, mowing, trimming, edging, and cleanup Assign daily tasks and instruct crew members in proper work procedures and safe equipment use Monitor job progress and ensure quality and completion of tasks according to project plans Inspect landscapes and report maintenance needs or issues to management Ensure proper use and care of tools, trucks, trailers, and equipment Load/unload materials, prepare job sites, and maintain organized work areas Assist with basic irrigation troubleshooting, seasonal start-up/shut-down, and repairs as directed Communicate with management regarding project status, materials needed, and crew productivity Train new and seasonal employees in work techniques and safety practices Perform physical landscaping tasks and operate power equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
