***RFI Response*** Commercial Kitchen equipment such as measuring utensils, knives, choppers, ovens, grills and fryers. Mixing, tenderizing, seasoning, breading, and portioning beef and poultry. Cutting and preparing fresh fruits and vegetables for salad plates. Opening canned products. Gathering ingredients for mixing and rolling out for baking. Kitchen Staff will prepare food from scratch with very limited pre-made products all while following recipes and supervisors’ instructions. Commercial Restaurant Kitchen. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware. Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Portion and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons. Take and record temperature of food and food storage areas, such as refrigerators and freezers. Kitchen Staff will work in a commercial restaurant kitchen, preparing a wide variety of foods from scratch, including meats, poultry, vegetables, fruits, and desserts, with very limited pre-made products. Duties include mixing, tenderizing, seasoning, breading, and portioning beef and poultry; cutting and preparing fresh fruits and vegetables for salad plates; opening canned products; and gathering ingredients for mixing and rolling out for baking, all while following recipes and supervisors’ instructions.
