  • Unloads materials, cleans off the roof, assists roofers by preparing and handling roofing materials, and cleans the site after the job is complete. • They will measure materials. • Clear debris from the roof. • Help waterproof roofs. • Scrape or pull off old roofing material. • Properly equip all roofers with safety equipment, scaffolding, and hoists. • Climb ladders and get on top of roofs to provide assistance to roofers; ie: bring materials up or throw materials into the trash. • Unroll roofing material and ensure that the correct quantity and type of material have been delivered to the site • Gather tools, resources, equipment, and materials required for each roofing project, and bring them to the workspace.
