Assist in cutting, shaping, and fitting glass, install safety components like scaffolding, and follow strict safety protocols for handling glass and working at heights. Work Preparation & Site Management Site Preparation: Clean and prepare installation sites by removing debris and hazards to create a safe working environment. Material Handling & Assistance Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload glass panels and other building materials, ensuring they are transported to and from the work area. Material Transport: Move materials like extrusions, sealants, and hardware to the specific installation location. Assisting Installers: Work under the direction of glaziers and supervisors, assisting in the installation of glass and its related components. Glass Handling: Help with the careful handling of glass sheets, which requires precision and care to avoid damage and injuries. Safety & Housekeeping Following Safety Standards: Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques.
