  Twenty-five full-time temporary positions are available for work beginning April 1, 2026 and continuing through December 1, 2026, with 40 hours work provided weekly, from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, at $24.09 or higher per hour, with optional overtime offered at $36.14 or higher per hour. Ground Person duties include ground-level pruning and trimming; also raking and chipping; also applying protective mulches and safe fertilizers; also collecting and hauling out debris, and loading and unloading crew vehicles. Ground Persons provide ground support and observe for any shrub or plant or hedge problems and inform crew leaders. The position is entry-level and non-agricultural. Ground Persons attend a daily Safety Briefing.
