Prepare food for the day by chopping, cutting, and seasoning. Prepare and cook food and menu items in advance such as eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes, and other breakfast items. Set-up kitchen for the day by pulling items from walk-in, starting equipment, etc. May plan and prep menu items. Duties also include cleaning work areas and equipment, taking care of food waste, taking garbage out, closing the kitchen at the end of the day, and shutting off all equipment. Assist with occasional end of season deep-cleaning.
