Prepare a variety of food items and assist in food preparation, presentation, and expediting. Portion foods such as lobster and smoked salmon for benedicts and bagels. Add finishing touches to dishes such as toast, fruit bowls, salad greens and toppings. May assist with cooking by placing breakfast meats on the grill and home fries in the fryolator. Maintain a clean workstation throughout shift and close the kitchen at the end of the day by cleaning equipment, trash removal, mat washing, mopping, and putting away food orders. Assist the dishwasher as needed by cleaning utensils, dishes, glassware, etc. Assist with occasional end of season deep-cleaning.
