Preparation of hot and cold beverages using both Espresso and Drip coffee brew systems. The ability to mix alcoholic drinks as we operate a specialty Espresso Martini menu using our craft coffee selection. TIPS certified is a plus. Knowledge of ServeSafe and the correct handling of pre-prepared food items is imperative, including allergy awareness. Applicants must provide excellent service and client satisfaction while using the cash register in accordance with company cash handling policies. A sound verbal/working knowledge of English is a must. Other duties include continuous monitoring and cleaning of food (coffee) preparation surfaces, cafe tables, chairs, floors and other contact surfaces. Removal of trash will be on an as-needed basis also. The outside patio area must be monitored and kept clean too. All cups, glassware, plates and other service items must be cleaned using the high-temperature ware washing machines. End of shift duties include restocking, cleaning and store re-set for the following day. A clean smart appearance is required and a limited uniform will be provided. (shirts) Shifts vary including weekends, holidays and night. Hours 6.30am to 2.00pm and 2.00pm to 11.00pm with a minimum of 35 hours per week. Rate $21.84 per hour. Some overtime may be available (at $32.76). A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the paycheck required by law will be made. No other paycheck deductions will be made. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of each 12 week period of employment covered by the job order. The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. The employer will reimburse all visa, visa-related and border crossing expenses during the first week of employment. If the worker completes 50% of the contract period, the employer will reimburse workers for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the contract or the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The employer will pay for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable outbound transportation and subsistence costs during the last work week. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a minimum rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
