Responsible for seasoning and cooking food according to recipes, manager instructions, and preparing menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquet service. Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards at all times, ensuring that work areas remain clean and tidy throughout service. Keep storage areas organized, properly rotate inventory, and ensure all food is handled, labeled, and stored correctly at the conclusion of each shift. Responsible for putting away daily orders, maintaining accurate product pars, and ensuring proper waste disposal at all times. Work collaboratively with the culinary team to uphold efficiency and consistency across all outlets. Assist with cleaning and organizing kitchen and service areas, including dish and storage spaces, and support overall kitchen cleanliness by removing garbage and sanitizing equipment as needed. Minimum of three years of professional kitchen experience required in a luxury resort environment. Must demonstrate a genuine passion for cooking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to consistently follow recipes, plating standards, and presentation guidelines that reflect an elevated dining experience. Must adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, maintain composure under pressure, and take pride in craftsmanship and presentation. Prolonged periods of standing and exposure to heat, cold, and steam are part of the role. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have the manual dexterity required for precise cutting, chopping, and other culinary tasks.
