The ideal candidate will assist in various construction projects, operating hand and power tools, preparing job sites, and supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. Key Responsibilities: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to job sites. Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles, hazards, and debris. Operate hand and power tools, such as jackhammers, drills, and saws. Assist with building and dismantling scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures. Mix, pour, and spread materials like concrete and asphalt. Follow safety guidelines, wear protective gear, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Perform site clean-up at the end of each shift. Carry out basic measurements and leveling tasks. Hand Tools: Hammer: For driving nails and demolition tasks. Screwdrivers: Flathead and Phillips for fastening screws. Wrenches: Adjustable, pipe, and combination wrenches for tightening or loosening nuts and bolts. Utility Knife: For cutting materials like drywall, insulation, and plastic. Tape Measure: Essential for accurate measurements. Chalk Line: For marking straight lines over long distances. Levels: To ensure surfaces are even and plumb. Hand Saw: For cutting wood, plastic, or lightweight materials. Shovel: For digging, mixing, or moving materials like dirt and concrete. 2. Power Tools: Drills: Cordless or corded, for drilling holes and driving screws. Circular Saw: For fast, straight cuts in wood and other materials. Reciprocating Saw (Sawzall): for demolition work. Angle Grinder: For cutting, grinding, and polishing metal or masonry. 3. Measuring & Layout Tools: Laser Level: For precise leveling over long distances. Speed Square: For quick marking and measuring angles. Plumb Bob: To ensure vertical alignment. Measuring Wheel: For measuring long distances quickly. 4.
