Job Summary: The Landscape Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of various properties' landscapes, gardens, and grounds. This role includes planting, mowing, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and overall landscape maintenance to ensure the grounds remain attractive, healthy, and well-groomed. Beneficiaries' key responsibilities include mowing, edging, and trimming lawns and using hand or power tools. Plant, water, fertilize, weed, and mulch flower beds, trees, shrubs, and lawns. Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain desired shapes and sizes. Remove debris, leaves, and litter from the grounds and dispose of them appropriately. Maintain pathways, driveways, and walkways, ensuring they are clean and safe. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Beneficiaries will maintain and operate landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers, and other tools. They will perform routine maintenance to ensure they are in good working condition. Irrigation and Watering: Beneficiaries set up, adjust, and monitor irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and coverage. They also manually water plants and lawns as needed. Seasonal Maintenance: Beneficiaries will perform seasonal planting and preparation, including aerating, seeding, and fertilizing lawns. Safety and Compliance: Beneficiaries will adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while performing tasks and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal landscaping and grounds maintenance regulations. Physical Requirements: Beneficiaries must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects (at least 50 pounds), stand, walk, perform repetitive tasks for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
