Manual labor responsible for mowing greens, tees, fairways, rough, bunker banks, and native grass; performs bunker maintenance; rakes and moves sand, edges, and pulls weeds; installs and maintains landscaping plant material and performs all associated landscaping duties; assists with the repairs and maintenance of the irrigation system features; performs golf course set up; cup cutting, tee cleanup, divot filling, ball mark repair, trash and debris removal, and golf ball washer maintenance. Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance for property owners in residential areas surrounding the golf course. Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete tasks such as sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, installing and maintaining sprinkler systems, and placing rock or mulch with weed control barriers. Optional housing is available on-site for employees at a rate of $400 per month, which is deducted from the worker's paycheck. Employees that successfully complete their scheduled stay in entirety and satisfy the work duties of their respective hired position are eligible for an end of season bonus of $200 -$1000 based on the discretion of the employer. Workers receive an employee discount in the restaurant and golf shop of 40%. Discount does not apply to clearance merchandise, coffee bar, or alcohol purchases. There are no free meals at any time. All transactions must go through the POS system. House coffee, tea, and fountain soda are complimentary only for those who are on shift.
