**RFI** The workers will not operate heavy motorized equipment such as forklifts, rider pallet jacks, or other powered industrial trucks that require OSHA certification. The motorized equipment they will use consists of smaller electric tools, including: · Battery-Powered Platform Cart – Make: Wesco / Model: WPCT-550 (self-propelled platform cart for transporting small loads). This equipment is exempt from OSHA certification requirements, and workers will primarily use hand-operated equipment to move materials, boxes, and produce within the warehouse. The tasks involve manual handling, such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and positioning items. No forklifts, powered pallet jacks, rider equipment, or any machinery requiring OSHA certification are used by these workers. Issue 2: Workers move goods within the employer’s own warehouse facilities only. No off-site transportation or driving is performed. Goods are transported: · From the inbound receiving area to interior storage racks/shelves · From storage areas to the internal packing and staging area · From the staging area to the outbound loading zone (still inside the facility) All movements occur inside the same warehouse and do not involve travel on public roads or between different employer locations. Issue 3: Workers load and unload goods exclusively inside the employer’s warehouse, specifically at: · Inbound Receiving Dock: Items are unloaded from delivery trucks by certified carrier personnel; workers only handle goods after they are placed inside the warehouse. · Internal Storage Areas: Workers place goods onto shelves, racks, and storage carts. · Outbound Staging Area: Workers unload items from carts and place them on pallets or tables for outbound processing by shipping staff. Workers do not load or unload trucks, trailers, or any equipment that requires certification. Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy, check for damage, and confirm compliance with company standards. Sort, label, and store items in designated warehouse locations following inventory management protocols. All movement of goods and materials is performed using manual, non-powered equipment only, including hand trucks, push carts, manual pallet jacks, non-powered platform carts, and hand-operated bins or totes. Will also use small motor equipment like a battery-powered platform carts which are exempt from OSHA certification requirements. No forklifts, or other machinery requiring OSHA certification or licensure will be used. Move goods inside the warehouse or onto level dock areas using manual handling and hand-operated equipment. Ensure that all goods moved or stored match the relevant paperwork and report any damaged or missing items to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors. **Original** Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy, check for damage, and confirm compliance with company standards. Sort, label, and store items in designated locations following inventory management protocols. Motor equipment to transport goods and materials to and from various locations.
