Prepare ingredients for service to the chef’s guidelines for all Nikanos recipes, including measuring, washing vegetables, and ensuring that kitchen hygiene and standards are maintained. Keep work areas clean and sanitized. Assist with stocking and putting away kitchen supplies. Ensure all food and ingredients are stored properly, including labeling and storing. Assist in receiving and storing food supplies in designated food storage areas. Clean dishes, pots and pans, tableware, and all other related materials for the restaurant. Must be able to operate the automatic dish machine after training. Load dishes, silverware and glasses into dish machine. Mop floors in kitchen areas, remove trash and clean garbage containers. Inform management when cleaning products are running low or if dish equipment is not functioning properly. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by senior kitchen staff. Standing for up to 8 hrs per shift and lifting up to 50 lbs.
