***RFI Response*** Workers will install, inspect, test, and repair irrigation systems using hand and power tools such as trenching shovels, pipe cutters, PVC glue/primer tools, measuring tapes, wire tracers, multimeters, pressure gauges, hand-held power drills. Workers will dig trenches for irrigation lines as part of assigned duties. Trenches typically range from approximately 3–6 inches wide and 6–12 inches deep depending on pipe size and site requirements. Materials handled include PVC pipe, poly pipe, drip tubing, valves, valve boxes, controllers/clocks, fittings, emitters, sprinkler heads, and related irrigation components. Workers will operate a company truck to travel to job sites. Trucks may include light-duty pickups such as Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, or similar models. Workers may transport irrigation tools, materials, to and from job sites depending on scheduling needs. ***Original F.a.2*** Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: install, inspect, test and repair irrigation systems. Will be responsible for mapping out irrigation areas, installing irrigation pipes, clocks, and other irrigation parts. Conduct regular maintenance checks. Maintain irrigation systems, including start up in spring and winterizing at end of season, checking for breakage and replace worn components. Setting controls and timers. Operate company truck to each job site. Knowledge of irrigation systems.
