Prepare ingredients and provide assistance to line cooks and chefs in the preparation of meals. Wash, peel, cut, measure, and portion ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and cheeses according to recipes and menu specifications. Assist with basic cooking tasks including mixing, assembling, and plating under supervision. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, utensils, and storage areas in accordance with health and safety standards. Organize and store ingredients, food supplies, and kitchen tools properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination. Receive and stock deliveries, label and date items, and monitor inventory levels. Maintain a neat, organized, and sanitary workspace and follow all food safety and club policies. 40+ hrs/wk. Shifts are 9:00AM – 4:00PM and 4:00PM – 10:00PM Employees will work 6 days/wk but days of the week and shifts will vary weekly. Possible 5-10 hours overtime/wk. Employees must be able to commit to entire period of need. Will train. Wage Range paid $19.77 - $28.00 based upon performance at employers discretion. Possible bonuses based upon performance at employer's discretion. Club locations for positions: 100 Clubhouse Lane, Edgartown, MA 2 Main Street, Edgartown, MA 16 Field Club Lane, Edgartown, MA Housing may be provided based upon availability at employer's discretion at a cost of $55.00/wk withdrawn from paycheck. The housing fee will be deducted through payroll so long as the weekly housing fee does not result in weekly wages equal to less than $35.00 below Massachusetts minimum wage. Employer will make all deductions from paycheck as required by law. A standard work week will be used to compute wages. Employer will provide employee(s), without charge or deposit charge any tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(k). Employee will be reimbursed for initial inbound subsistence and transportation after 50% of employment period is completed. Upon completion of the period of need, or if employee is dismissed early, employer will pay for workers reasonable costs and subsistence of outbound, return, transportation back to where employee came from, unless the employee does not return. The amount of transportation reimbursed will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence for travel will be provided at a rate of $16.28/day up to a max of $68.00/day with proof by receipts. Employees will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period to the total employment period.
