Greet guests, present menus, and explain daily specials and wine pairings. Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them promptly to kitchen and bar staff. Serve meals and beverages in proper sequence and at appropriate temperatures, maintaining awareness of timing and member preferences. Monitor tables throughout service to ensure satisfaction, replenish beverages, and respond promptly to requests or issues. Prepare dining areas for service, including setting tables with proper linens, glassware, and flatware, and assist with event setups and private functions as needed. Process payments, follow club billing procedures, and maintain accurate records of orders. Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Maintain professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the standards of a private club. 35-40 hrs/wk Shifts are 10:30AM – 4:30PM and 4:30PM – 10:30PM. Wage of $20.52 includes tips. Employees will work 6 days/wk but days of the week and shifts will vary weekly. Possible 6-8 hours overtime/wk. 2 months experience preferred. Will train. Employees must be able to commit to entire period of need. Possible bonuses based upon performance at employer's discretion. Club locations for positions: 100 Clubhouse Lane, Edgartown, MA 2 Main Street, Edgartown, MA 16 Field Club Lane, Edgartown, MA Housing may be provided based upon availability at employer's discretion at a cost of $55.00/wk withdrawn from paycheck. The housing fee will be deducted through payroll so long as the weekly housing fee does not result in weekly wages equal to less than $35.00 below Massachusetts minimum wage. Employer will make all deductions from paycheck as required by law. A standard work week will be used to compute wages. Employer will provide employee(s), without charge or deposit charge any tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(k). Employee will be reimbursed for initial inbound subsistence and transportation after 50% of employment period is completed. Upon completion of the period of need, or if employee is dismissed early, employer will pay for workers reasonable costs and subsistence of outbound, return, transportation back to where employee came from, unless the employee does not return. The amount of transportation reimbursed will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence for travel will be provided at a rate of $16.28/day up to a max of $68.00/day with proof by receipts. Employees will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period to the total employment period.
