***RFI Response*** To inspect, clean, and maintain trucks and equipment/machinery, the employee will use rags and water, and will wipe clean the exterior of the trucks and equipment of any sealant that gets on them. Employee will ensure that the truck is supplied with caution tape and stakes. Prepping sites will include removing weeds with an electric weed wacker from the edges of asphalt, taking a wire brush and brushing the asphalt and then using a leaf blower to blow the debris off after brushing. The sealant that the employee will work with is a a clay-stabilized, fuel resistant water-based asphalt/pavement sealant. Employees will use a leaf blower, weed wacker, wire brush and broom brush to remove debris from asphalt. Employees will spray the sealant on the site using a wand at the end of a hose. Employees then distribute and smooth the sealant with a broom. ***Original F.a.2*** Duties include: Inspect, clean, and maintain trucks and equipment/machinery. Clean/ prepare sites for crack filling and sealcoating. Trim/edge all edges around work area. Use blowers, broom, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other hand tools need to complete job. Prep oil spots before resurfacing. Apply sealant by hand with broom.
