Responsible for greeting customers, setting up the dining areas, taking and placing orders, carrying trays and plates, serving food and beverages, and cleaning and clearing tables and replace soiled table linens. Safely move, carry and setting up meeting rooms, chairs and buffet equipment such as air-pots and urns for coffee, beverage dispensers, pitchers, chafers, and food pans. Deliver food and beverages. Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware and dishes. Supply service/buffet/cold/hot bar with food and beverages; serve items such as water, condiments and coffee to patrons; assigned side work. Perform serving, cleaning & stocking duties. Stand & bend repetitively during shift. Follow all sanitation policies and guidelines. Must maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area. Employer will offer a minimum 40 hours of work per week. Resort is open 7 days a week. 5-day work schedule varies Monday through Sunday. Shift times vary including 6am-2pm, 9am-5pm or 1pm-9pm. Other 8-hour day and evening shift times possible/may be required. Employer will offer a 30-minute paid lunch break. Workdays, hours, and shift times vary with occupancy. Basic wage rate $15.00 per hour. Gratuity-eligible position, so actual wage with tips may occasionally be higher. The employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Employer offers a complimentary meal for each employee per shift. Overtime may be available and must be approved by management. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per work week. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $22.50 per hour. Daily transportation provided between employee housing and all worksites at no cost to employee.
