RFI-Most mobile amusement rides are designed to be assembled & disassembled in hrs w/ manual labor & simple tools such as screwdrivers pliers rubber mallets a variety of wrenches & ratchets. RFI-Corn dogs frozen pre-battered & pre-skewered. Corn Dogs are thawed out. Once thawed out they are placed into the deep fryer. The timer for the deep fryer that is reserved for the corn dogs is pre-set & when they are in the fryer for the proper amount of time the basket raises to allow for the oil to drain from the corn dogs. They are placed into a chafing dish on the front counter under a heat lamp. When a client orders one or more corn dogs they are removed from the chafing dish & placed into the proper size serving boat. They are handed to the client who would go to the kiosk to add condiments & pick up any napkins or cutlery required. Cotton Candy is a combination of sugar & a commercially available product known as flossine that adds color & flavoring to the finished product. A commercial grade cotton candy aka floss machine is turned on allowed to heat up the sugar & flossine is mixed in appropriate amounts & when the machine hits the correct temperature the worker slowly pours from a small cup or measuring scoop the mix into the center /heating element. This produces whisps of cotton candy that forms around the center of the machine. The worker slowly spins the paper cotton candy cone w/ in the large bowl to capture & build what most persons would recognize as cotton candy. This is then slipped into a cotton candy bag & sealed either w/ a small tie & placed into a dry location until a client orders a cotton candy. Hot Dogs & Hamburgers. All the meats come prepackaged. The veggies/toppings that are grilled are also prepackaged cut to bite sized portions ready for grilling. The meat items as well as the vegetable items would be placed on a grill to cook using tongs to place them onto the grill & a turner spatula to move them around the grill. Olive oil would be poured onto the grill. Part of the grill would be at full heat to grill the meat items part would be kept at medium heat to grill the vegetables. Cooked items are put into chafing dishes under heat lamps. When client orders the items (including either hamburger or hot dog bun) are placed w/ tongs in a serving boat handed to the client who moves to the kiosk to add condiments. Bags of ice would be opened & ice dumped by hand into the reservoir on the top of the dispenser & into the ice bin. Worker would ensure that the tanks or cartons of syrup (flavoring) have product in them & are attached to the Fountain Drink Machine. Worker would ensure that there are sufficient cups in the cup dispenser for the anticipated need during the shift & if there is a shortage walk to the storage area & retrieve additional cups to place into the dispenser. When an order comes in for a certain flavor of drink size ice/light ice/no ice from a patron the worker would prepare the proper size flavor drink & place a plastic lid on the cup. Worker would place the drink into the serving area so that another worker w/ direct contact w/ the patron is able to provide the drink(s) to the patron along w/ the balance of the order.
