- Offer description:
*2nd RFI Response Most mobile amusement rides are designed to be assembled and disassembled in hours with manual labor and simple tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, rubber mallets, a variety of wrenches and ratchets. When heavy lifting is required, rides would have built in hydraulics for raising and lowering platforms, etc., so that additional equipment is not required. Once ride is positioned by a supervisor, workers would unload by hand, the various parts of the ride that must be assembled. Platforms and centerpieces would be positioned using the built-in hydraulic lifts and winches. *RFI Response Soft Serve Ice Cream: To make the ice cream, the mix is poured into the Spaceman 6210 Soft Serve Ice Cream Machine, it is connected to electricity and water, and we get the ice cream. The toppings are in small bins at the front edge of the counter; with scoops we scoop the toppings onto the ice cream. Mix the ice-cream using whatever ingredients the customer wants, using a spatula. The spatula is also used to scrape the mixed ice cream off the counter and into a bowl or waffle cone for serving. Corn Dogs: Corn dogs frozen, pre-battered and pre-skewered. Corn Dogs are thawed out. Once thawed out they are placed into the deep fryer. The timer for the deep fryer that is reserved for the corn dogs is pre-set, and when they are in the fryer for the proper amount of time the basket raises to allow for the oil to drain from the corn dogs. They are placed into a chafing dish on the front counter under a heat lamp. When a client orders one or more corn dogs, they are removed from the chafing dish and placed into the proper size serving boat. They are handed to the client who would go to the kiosk to add condiments and pick up any napkins or cutlery required. Fountain Soda. These workers would NOT be serving any alcoholic beverages. For a fountain drink, the worker would take the proper size cup in their hand, use an ice scoop to scoop ice into the cup (unless the patron ordered no ice), place the cup under the nozzle, press the cup against the lever and fill the cup. Take a lid from the lid supply and secure this on the top of the cup. From time to time, the worker would need to restock the cups, lids and ice from the appropriate storage area. If the machine runs out of syrup, the worker would need to locate in the storage area the proper flavor of prepackaged syrup, disconnect the empty syrup container, connect the full syrup container, and then discard the empty container. Lemonade: On a cutting board, the lemons would be cut in half. See through plastic cups and lids would be brought from storage. A food service quality bin of ice with ice scoop would be placed into the work area. Workers serving lemonade would stand at the front counter, communicating with the customer. After taking the order, would scoop ice into a cup, pick up (with gloved hand), and squeeze Lemon Juice into the cup, using a Squeezer. Pre-mixed sugar water would be poured into the cup, and then the product would be served with lid and straw to the patron. *Original Perform a variety of duties at traveling carnival, assembling, disassembling & operating equipment (amusement rides, game and/or food concessions) May sell tickets & collect fees from customers; provide information about the facilities, rules and regulations; direct patrons to rides, seats or attractions; monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures; provide assistance to patrons entering or exiting amusement rides; clean rides, booths, facilities or grounds; inspect equipment to detect wear and damage and perform minor repairs, adjustments, or maintenance tasks, such as oiling parts; fasten safety devices for patrons, or provide them with directions for fastening devices; announce or describe amusement attractions to patrons to entice customers to games and/or other entertainment; and sell and serve refreshments to customers.
