Manually move materials such as lumber and metal connector plates into the truss jigging stations. Put lumber in the designated location in jigging area. Use tape measure to ensure cut lumber is placed accurately and according to the shop drawings. Once lumber has been set in the jig accurately, the laborer will install connector plates onto the lumber joints by hammering them in the location specified on the shop drawings. Once the floor and roof trusses are pressed and completed, the laborer will stack and band multiple truss packs together and get them ready for delivery.
