**RFI** Assembling and disassembling of equipment: Mobile amusement rides are designed to be assembled and disassembled in hours with manual labor and simple tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, rubber mallets, a variety of wrenches and ratchets. Workers would unload the various parts of the ride by hand. Platforms and centerpieces would be positioned using the built-in hydraulic lifts and winches. Support bars and passenger conveyances would be positioned and attached as per manufacturer instructions. Safety fence and signage would be downloaded by hand and placed into position by hand. Refreshments: Fountain Drinks: When an order comes in for a certain flavor of drink, size, ice/light ice/no ice, the worker would prepare the proper size, flavor drink and place a plastic lid on the cup. Worker would place the drink into the serving area so that another worker, with direct contact with the patron, is able to provide the drink(s) to the patron, along with the balance of the order. Grilled Chicken & Grilled Vegetables: Chicken is pre-cooked, pre-cut into bite sized pieces. Vegetables are pre-cleaned and pre-cut into bite sized pieces. Items are placed onto the heated flat grill, using tongs to place them onto the grill and a turner spatula to move them around the grill. Olive oil would be poured onto the grill. Part of the grill would be at full heat to grill the meat items, part would be kept at medium heat to grill the vegetables. Seasoning would be sprinkled from a shaker onto the items while being grilled in the olive oil. After reaching proper temps, items would be scooped with spoon into chafing dishes under heat lamp, pending order by patron, and then scooped into serving boat/plate. Vehicles: Vehicles with gross vehicle weight 26,001 or above. Check documentation for completeness & accuracy. Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure. Crank trailer landing gear up or down to safely secure vehicles. **Original** Perform a variety of duties at traveling carnival, assembling, disassembling & operating equipment (amusement rides, game and/or food concessions). May sell tickets & collect fees from customers; provide information about the facilities, rules and regulations; direct patrons to rides, seats or attractions; monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures; provide assistance to patrons entering or exiting amusement rides; clean rides, booths, facilities or grounds; inspect equipment to detect wear and damage and perform minor repairs, adjustments, or maintenance tasks, such as oiling parts; fasten safety devices for patrons, or provide them with directions for fastening devices; announce or describe amusement attractions to patrons to entice customers to games and/or other entertainment; and sell and serve refreshments to customers.
