  Position offered is for an experienced landscape laborer with a minimum of three months experience in landscape labor who is able to work with and model company landscaping methods and procedures in landscaping installation relating to: golf course, athletic fields, and parks. Workers typically perform tasks which may include any combination of the following: hand trenching relating to sprinkler system installation that are about 10-12 inches deep and 6-8 inches wide. Worker also dig shallow V-shaped drainage canals for run-off water, with some grading with gravel or loose rock. The trenches or drainage canals are not reinforced with steel and do not use any concrete or mortar. Additional landscaping duties that are performed are installation and removal of plants, trees, and shrubs. Worker also use sprinklers and hoses, as well as small landscaping hand tools. Workers also perform landscaping duties such as: planting/sodding/seeding, watering. Loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Lifting required up to 50 pounds. Work performed on local area jobsites with employer provided transportation to and from the jobsites from a centralized pickup location in the specified area of employment.
