***RFI Response*** Worker will serve as fleet mechanic to company vehicles and construction equipment. Includes routine maintenance and repair on pickup trucks, dump trucks, as well as compact track loaders, mini excavator, forklifts, paving machine, and power tools. Vehicles that will be maintained are 2500HD, 3500HD, 5500HD trucks. This includes both gas and diesel trucks. The work and maintenance to be performed is typically oil changes, replacing brake pads, filters, belts, fluids, batteries, and other standard tasks related to the maintenance of vehicles. Similarly, the mechanic will provide mechanic services for equipment that may include Bobcat, mini excavator, paving machine, and/or forklift. Mechanic will perform routine maintenance and repair to these. All work must be done in a professional and timely manner. Mechanic must keep accurate records of all service, repairs, etc., and will be expected to communicate well with records departments. Must have strong knowledge of vehicles and machinery as well as basic computer function programs such as Word, Calendar software, etc., so that repairs and such can be properly scheduled and tracked accordingly. ***Original F.a.2*** Worker will serve as fleet mechanic to company vehicles and construction equipment.
