Bistro Server: • 2 openings, minimum 35hrs/wk. Work schedule may vary. Work may be performed on any day of the week. Example shifts 8-3p & 3-11p.etc. • Min. starting wage $25.81/hr. Inclusive of base pay and tips. This is a tipped position. Allowed tip credit applied per FLSA guidelines to meet offered wage. OT may be available for over 40hrs/week at $38.72/hr. • Additional compensation such as raises and bonus may be available based on individual factors including tenure, experience/skills and work performance. Job Duties: Take & place food & drink orders, serve guests drinks, breakfast, lunch & dinner. Set up & bus tables & keep workstations and all dining areas clean. Carry trays, plates and glasses and run food from kitchen. Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods. Greet guests and provide attentive, efficient and friendly service. Complete all closing & opening side work at beginning and end of shift. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food & beverage. Assist in stocking server/busser station with necessary items. Other Conditions / Special requirement • Pay weekly. • Schedule runs Monday through Sunday, scheduled shift and workdays vary. May rotate/split shifts. • Weekends & holidays are required • Min. 1 month experience is required. • Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary • No daily transportation to/from work is provided. • No on-the-job training is provided. • No Education is required. • Supplies, work tools, equipment & logoed uniforms are provided free. • All deductions required by law will be payroll deducted. • Employer will payroll deduct, and written preapproved deduction requested by employee • Possible shared voluntary housing provided by the employer or optional 3rd party housing may be available on a first come basis at $135-$175 weekly and payroll deducted weekly. Housing deposits and/or a $100-$150 nonrefundable admin/cleaning fee may be required if staying in housing. Disclosures • Visa Fees - Employer will reimburse H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and & other related fees, including those mandated by government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker) • Guaranteed work for total hours equal to at least ¾ of the workdays in each 12-week period. • If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay or reimburse directly for inbound transportation and daily subsistence (min $16.28/day and max $68/day with receipts) • If the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early, employer will arrange and pay directly for return transportation and daily subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for distances involved. Subsistence reimbursement is minimum $16.28/day and max $68/day with receipts). • Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
