The landscape laborer is responsible for performing various tasks related to the maintenance and beautification of outdoor spaces, including planting, mowing, and general landscape duties. Responsibilities include preparing soil and planting areas by digging, tilling, and leveling the ground; planting flowers, shrubs, and trees; watering and fertilizing plants; and maintaining garden beds through weeding and mulching. Workers also mow, edge, and trim lawns to maintain a neat appearance and operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Additional duties include removing debris, leaves, and litter from outdoor areas to keep them clean and orderly. Landscape laborers work under the guidance of a landscape supervisor or manager and collaborate as part of a team to complete daily tasks efficiently. Attention to detail is essential to ensure the aesthetic quality of landscaped areas and gardens. Work is primarily conducted outdoors in various weather conditions, requiring adaptability and resilience. Adherence to all health and safety regulations is mandatory to maintain a safe working environment.
