Employees will work in the production of meat products. They will operate production machinery and equipment as trained, ensuring safe operation and reporting any malfunctions to a supervisor. The position does not require machine set-up, programming, or repair. Workers will load and unload meat products from buggies to the production line, and place products on conveyors, hooks, nets, or work surfaces for further processing, inspection, or packaging. As part of their duties, employees will perform visual checks of meat products to confirm quality and food-safety compliance, removing non-conforming items as directed. The role also involves following standard operating procedures and USDA guidelines for sanitation and hygiene. Employees will clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and work areas to maintain a hygienic environment. They will package, label, and stage finished products for storage or distribution, and may be required to separate products by weight, grade, size, or composition. Workers will also move products between work areas and storage using carts or buggies, while collaborating with team members to achieve production targets. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
