• Minimum of 35hrs/wk. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain or drought may affect working hours. Example of scheduled shifts: 8a-3p & 3p-10p.Minimum $24.03 hourly rate inclusive of base pay and tips/service charge. Overtime hours over 40 hours/WK, if available is paid at 1.5 times the base rate at $36.05/HR. Tipped position. Allowed tip credit applied per FLSA guidelines to meet offered wage. Employer guarantees average hourly rate of pay will not fall below prevailing wage at $24.03/hour. Additional compensation such as raises and bonuses may be available based on individual factors including tenure, experience/skills and work performance. Take & place food & beverage orders, serve guests food and beverage orders. Set up & bus tables & keep workstations and all dining areas clean. Carry trays, plates and glasses and run food from the kitchen. Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods. Greet guests and provide attentive, efficient and friendly service. Complete all closing & opening side work at beginning and end of shift. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food & beverage. Assist in stocking server/busser station with necessary items. May assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests. May perform light cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up server station, taking out trash, or checking guest bathroom. Arrange tables or dining areas. • Pay weekly. Thursday through Wednesday, scheduled shift and workdays vary. Rotate/split shifts. Weekends & holidays are required.. Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. No daily transportation to/from work is provided. All deductions required by law will be payroll deducted. Employer will payroll deduct, and written preapproved deduction requested by employee. Possible shared voluntary housing provided by the employer or optional 3rd party housing may be available on a first come basis at $130-$150 weekly that includes 3 meals/day and payroll deducted weekly. $150 nonrefundable housing deposit/admin/cleaning fee may be required if staying in housing and it will be payroll deducted at $25/wk for 6 weeks or until paid in full. • Benefits – Health & medical benefits may be provided after the waiting period & one free employee meal may be available during each shift. May be required to work outside. Disclosures. Visa Fees - Employer will reimburse H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and & other related fees, including those mandated by government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). Guaranteed work for total hours equal to at least ¾ of the workdays in each 12-week period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay or reimburse directly for inbound transportation and daily subsistence (min $16.28/day and max $68/day with receipts). If the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early, employer will arrange and pay directly for return transportation and daily subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for distances involved. Subsistence reimbursement is minimum $16.28/day and max $68/day with receipts). Workers who voluntarily abandon employment are not entitled to payment for outbound travel costs or the full three fourths guarantee described above. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
