The Cook will be responsible for following the instructions and guidelines outlined by the Chef or Lead Cook for the shift, assisting with production and prep work as needed, and checking daily production sheets while confirming with the Chef or Lead Cook regarding daily work needs. The Cook will perform work assignments to meet proper quantities within a necessary time frame and prepare food items according to specific standards with timely execution of all meal functions. Responsibilities include maintaining a high level of sanitation, safety, and food quality while communicate effectively with guests, management, and staff. The position requires understanding and compliance with house policies and procedures, job description, chemical labels, and other instructions, along with the ability to respond to any reasonable task assigned by a supervisor or manager, assist in other departments as needed, and attend monthly departmental meetings.
