Prep/Line Cooks will be responsible for inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas, such as equipment, work surfaces, and serving areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices. Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock. Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience. Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 2:00pm to 10:00pm, 12:00pm to 8:00pm, or 8:00am to 4:00pm. Shift hours may vary. See job description for additional information.
