Food & Beverage Bartenders will be responsible for greeting guests in dining areas, banquet/event space, and bar and lounge areas, preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with proper mixed ratios and delivering them to guests in a pleasant manner, taking and placing orders for food, keeping bar surfaces and all prep areas clean, organized and in a presentable state, ensuring timely and accurate entry of orders into the computer system and collection of payment, clearing used items and washing thoroughly in accordance with Rhode Island’s safe food handling procedures, performing bar prep work, including cutting of garnishes, stocking of refrigerators and wells and washing drink prep utensils and equipment, completing required reports and paperwork to include closing out of register after each shift as directed by supervisor, and maintaining proper cash handling and inventory control procedures. Schedule: 35 hours per week minimum. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 8:00am – 3:00pm, 11:00am – 6:00pm, or 4:00pm – 11:00pm. Shift hours may vary. Please see attached job description for additional information.
