Waterfront Stewards will be responsible for understanding and enforcing all beach club policies, rules and regulations by explaining policies to members and guests (and relaying non-compliance with policies to leadership), monitoring all pools areas, beach areas and Sailing Center at the Beach Club, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests and members by enforcing displayed rules, relaying any ocean and lightning warnings to guests, and removing debris and potential trip hazards, providing towel service and amenities as needed by guests (eg. driving the beach carts, setting up chairs, umbrellas, and sunbeds during the day, and collecting them once the Beach Club closes), servicing all pools with towels and regular clean up, cleaning beach area, pool areas and foot showers, deck areas, beach, lawn and lounging areas for trash, soiled towels, personal items and other safety hazards, providing personal service such as erecting umbrellas and moving chaise lounges for beach goers, maintaining all public areas of beach club facilities, including open walkways, restrooms, pool deck spaces, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in all work areas. Waterfront Stewards will need to lift, carry, pull and push up to 50 pounds, intermittently, throughout shift. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 9:00AM-4:00PM.
