Dining Room Attendants will be responsible for performing a utility food service role at Witham Family Hotels’ properties. Witham operates several different hotel properties, each having different dining options for guests ranging from continental breakfast to full-service restaurants. Depending on the assigned property, duties may vary, and workers may rotate between properties and roles – however, Dining Room Attendants will not take orders, wait tables, or perform waiter/waitress duties. Although duties may vary, the following is a list of duties that may be assigned depending on venue: greeting customers, setting-up the dining areas, carrying trays and plates, serving ice water, coffee, rolls, or butter to patrons, assisting the dining team by placing food onto guest’s plates from behind the buffet line during events, delivering food trays to rooms for room service orders, putting away food deliveries in fridges or freezers, re-stocking food items in kiosks and/or mini-fridges in food-service/lobby areas, setting up buffet style meals, re-stocking/replacing chafing pans of food, cleaning and clearing tables and buffet stations, serving food to customers when waiters or waitresses need assistance, carrying bus buckets to the dish pit, washing dishes, taking out trash and breaking down recycling, vacuuming, sweeping, wiping down chairs and baseboards, and washing windows if necessary. Dining Room Attendants may need to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 5:00am to 12:00pm, 11:00am to 6:00pm, or 3:00pm to 10:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
