Laundry Attendants will be responsible for all stages of linen processing, including sorting soiled and unsoiled linens, cleaning laundry machines, assisting in laundry inventories, cleaning laundry area, folding and storing laundry. Laundry Attendants will also examine and sort articles to be cleaned, according to color, fabric, dirt content, and cleaning technique required, sort and count articles removed from dryers, and fold, wrap or hang them. Laundry Attendants will also need to operate commercial washers and dryers, and commercial iron machines. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:30am – 1:30pm, 9:00am – 4:00pm, or 3:00pm – 10:00pm. Shift hours may vary. See attached job description for additional information.
