***RFI Response*** Work environment: Bartenders will work in four (4) primary environments: the bar area, the lounge, the dining area, and service storage areas/service stations (where service supplies are stored/organized for use during service). Duties in these areas are outlined below. Restocking Service Areas: Bartenders restock glassware, garnishes, mixers, napkins, and bar tools at the bar service station. They may also restock non-alcoholic beverages and condiments in the server drink station as needed. Restocking includes retrieving supplies from the storage room, organizing items in designated service areas, and ensuring items are clean and set for service. Delivering Beverages to Guests: Bartenders will deliver drinks directly to guests seated in the dining room, lounge, or bar area. This task includes carrying beverages on a tray or by hand and confirming the correct order is delivered to the correct guest. Cleaning and resetting tables: Bartenders assist servers by clearing used glassware, plates, and utensils from tables in the lounge or bar seating area. They may wipe down tables, replace linens or coasters, reset glassware, and ensure the seating area is prepared for the next guest. Maintaining cleanliness of bar and lounge areas: Bartenders will wipe bar surfaces, clean spills immediately, organize bar tools, sweep the bar or lounge floor as needed, and ensure compliance with sanitation policies. Bartenders also polish glassware, maintain trash receptacles, and assist with end-of-shift cleaning. Assisting servers with guest requests: Bartenders may prepare specialty drinks requested by servers for their guests and support servers during high-volume service with tasks such as taking drink orders from customers at tables when servers are overwhelmed or unable to reach the bar in a timely manner, running drinks to tables when needed to maintain service pace, refilling guests beverages when servers are unavailable, running bar food or small plates to tables when bar-back or kitchen support is limited, wiping down bar surfaces and guest-facing areas to maintain cleanliness during service, and addressing immediate guest needs (such as providing water, napkins, or condiments). These duties are performed in the bar, lounge, and dining areas as needed. ***Original F.a.2*** Bartenders will be responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests in all areas of the club, taking and placing guest orders, serving snacks and beverages, and assessing bar customers' needs and preferences to make drink recommendations. Additional duties include cleaning glasses and bar equipment, ensuring the bar and work areas are clean and well-stocked, counting bar and beverage inventory and maintaining required bar and beverage inventory records, and assisting with other front-of-house duties as may be requested by management such as restocking service areas, delivering beverages to guests, clearing and resetting tables, maintaining cleanliness of bar and lounge areas, assisting servers with guest requests, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction in the dining and bar areas. Work hours: 35 hours per week. The work schedule may vary and can include evening and weekend hours. Work is performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Days off vary. Shifts vary (example shifts: 9:00am - 4:00pm, 12:00pm - 7:00pm, or 3:00pm - 10:00pm). See job description for additional information.
