Bartenders will be responsible for creating and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as serving food in bar/lounge area. Bartenders must adhere to state alcohol laws, rules and regulations and use of portion pour controls and adherer to drink recipes. Bartenders will also be responsible for seating, taking orders, taking reservations from guests, bar set-up and breakdown including filling of ice stations, stocking of beverages ranging from wines, spirits, beer, non-alcoholic beverages and other common bar stock items. Bartenders will also perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, and wiping down surface areas in bar/lounge area, including polishing of bottles and stocking of general bar service area. Bartenders will be responsible for securing all alcohol properly at the end of each shift, preparing checks, itemizing and totaling tab cost and taxes, removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and setting up of bar/lounge area, and serving food and beverages to guests and preparing specialty drinks at tables as required. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday.
