***RFI Response*** This position will not plan or assign work to other employees. The position will only provide very limited guidance or direction to Dishwashers who perform minor food prep duties such as openings cans, peeling vegetables, and moving frozen products from a box to a pan. Cooks will also direct Dishwashers to pick up dirty dishes, pots, and pans, bringing clean dishes and prep bowls to Cooks. There are no other supervisory duties or workers supervised. ***Original Duties*** Cooks will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant. Cooks will also be responsible for keeping workstations clean and storing food at end of the shift by labeling and dating, and throwing away expired food when needed. May supervise up to five (5) Food Prep Workers. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 10:00am – 5:00pm or 4:00pm – 11:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
