- Offer description:
*RFI Response Physical spaces/locations: work in two primary environments: (1) a fine-dining, indoor restaurant (Aurelia) and an outdoor, terrace-style restaurant (The Lawn Terrace); and (2) event spaces, including the indoor banquet facility (The Chalet) and outdoor tented or lawn spaces used for full-service weddings, corporate events, and private functions. Greeting Guests: greet guests in both the dining room and event spaces. This includes welcoming guests at the dining room entrance podium, directing them to their table, confirming reservation details, and providing initial menus or event information. For banquet events, servers greet guests at reception areas or table locations, provide guidance on seating, and offer initial beverage or hors d’oeuvre service. Setting Up Tables, Linens, and Chairs - Dining Room Service: prepare the dining room before each meal period by placing linens on tables, arranging chairs, setting full place settings (including flatware, china, and glassware), preparing bread stations, filling water carafes, and ensuring each table meets the property’s fine-dining service standards. This occurs inside the main dining room and, seasonally, on the outdoor terrace. Setting Up and Breaking Down Tables, Linens, and Chairs - Full-Service Banquet Events: participate in full event setup and breakdown in indoor banquet areas or outdoor event locations on the property. This includes: placing tables and chairs according to event floor plans for weddings, corporate dinners, and private functions; installing table linens, napkins, and any preset service items; setting full place settings for plated dinners or preparing buffet service stations; assisting in setting up satellite bars, water stations, or event-specific service equipment; after the event, removing linens, stacking chairs, breaking down tables, transporting items back to storage areas, and ensuring the event space is reset to standard configuration. The above tasks are performed in a combination of indoor and outdoor environments, depending on the scheduled dining service or event. *Original Catering & Dining Room Servers will be responsible for greeting guests, setting up and breaking down tables, linens, and chairs for full-service banquet events and dining room service, carrying trays and plates, serving food and non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and cleaning and clearing tables in the dining room and event spaces. Catering & Dining Room Servers may also occasionally wait tables in the dining room on an as-needed basis. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 10:00AM – 5:00PM or 3:00PM – 10:00PM. Shift hours may vary. Please see attached job description for additional information.
