Line Cooks will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items in accordance with resort standards, recipes, and food safety guidelines. Line Cooks will complete daily prep assignments, such as, washing, cutting, and measuring food items and assisting with station setup. They will prepare, season, and cook menu items including meats, seafood, vegetables, and desserts. Tools/equipment used include ovens, grills, pots, pans, knives, utensils, blenders, mixers, food processors, stand mixers, liquid dispensers, and whisks. Line Cooks must keep the workstation clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked. Work cooperatively and coordinate with kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of meals. Responsibilities will also include ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and move rapidly to coordinate multiple orders while following proper storage guidelines. Able to stand for long periods of time including bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching. Able to lift 50lbs or more and work under variable temperatures. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00AM to 1:00PM, 10:00AM to 5:00PM, or 3:00PM to 10:00PM. Shift hours may vary. See attached job description for additional information.
